Update 2

 AI converting images with prompts. 

Though I have changed my plans for the poor image, I am still going to use this photo of my cat, Cali. 

    I'm planning to give the photo to the Grok AI system and asking it to manipulate the photo through prompts. 

    Beginning with this photo I was curious what would happen if I eventually gave the AI free will to do anything it wished to this photo with minimal guidance. 

In these first few examples I prompted Grok to saturate the photo, I repeated this a number of times to see how far the AI was willing to go. 

    I was a little shocked to see how little it actually changed in the start, slowly having to get more and more descriptive with it to push it past what it was willing to do

 

You can see with these two I asked it to do the same thing twice, and they look nearly identical. this is what made me change my mindset and ask more specific prompts. 

    this once again was odd to me that the AI would not further distort an image with the same prompt, but as we can see later on it begins to break the mold as I give it more to work with 

now with this I became much more descriptive, asking for it to be more vivid and to make the orange colors pop. This showed a good amount of change however I knew I could get more out of it. 

with these two I started by telling Grok to continue to do the same method as before However I felt it was hitting a wall, so for the other one I told it that it had the freedom to do whatever it wanted. It could change the style, colors, it didn't matter all I cared about was that it was noticeably different, and it worked. When given freedom it chose to change the style into more of a painting.

then I once again asked it to repeat this process and the only thing I cared about was that I could clearly see a change, and with this Grok turned the photo into a black and white painting with a slightly yellow eye. 

    once I asked again for the final time it emphasized the yellow eye and gave embers to make the eye stand out. This was kind of shocking to me, though I wanted it to change and have the free will to do what it wanted I never expected it to change the colors to black and white and so heavily emphasize the eye. 

    This was a wonderful experiment to find what AI wants to do, and what its limits are. From what I can tell Grok has a limit to how much it can distort a photo before repeating the same image.
